I'll dominate 'legitimate combatant' Jake Paul - Joshua

Anthony Joshua and Jake Paul face-off

Anthony Joshua will face the American YouTuber in an eight-round contest which will be streamed live on the streaming platform.

Briton Anthony Joshua stated he will "stamp all over" Jake Paul and "defeat" his opponent as the combatants confronted each other to publicize next month's heavyweight fight.

Ex twice unified title holder Anthony Joshua meets social media star turned fighter Jake Paul - in what is, theoretically, a mammoth disparity - at Miami's venue on December 19th.

Boxer's Mentality

"I plan to damage his features and hurt his body. My goal is to show my superiority," the British boxer, 35, stated.

"I'll stamp all over him. That's how fighters think.

"I intend to seriously aim to injure him. That's what I want to do."

Civil Exchange

Despite such comments, a calm Joshua and internet personality Paul - normally recognized for his theatrics - shared friendly words and kept it respectful with each other.

Paul instead criticized former Joshua's rival Francis Ngannou and labeled him "ridiculous" after the Cameroonian rejected a bout proposal.

Targeting Tyson Fury

Joshua, meanwhile, took aim at British rival Fury - and rejected a million-pound wager 'Tyson Fury' claims he will make on a victory for Paul.

"Jake Paul is superior to Tyson Fury - he's present here," Joshua commented.

"I respect him for that."

Legitimate Fighter

In spite of declaring he will hurt Jake Paul, Anthony Joshua refused to talk badly about his opponent's pugilistic talent.

"Jake Paul is a serious fighter," he stated.

Jake Paul's History

Jake Paul - who originally gained popularity on the television network - has mainly fought MMA fighters or faded names since turning professional.

He was defeated by Briton Fury in 2023.

Financial Attraction

However, the relative newcomer remains one of boxing's largest money-making draws, consistently making substantial financial rewards.

Prediction and Belief

The 28 year old anticipated a KO victory in rounds four or five and stated he would derail the long-awaited Fury-Joshua bout, which is apparently being planned for 2026.

"It's going to be my match with Fury next year," Paul declared.

Physical Disparity

As Joshua and Paul engaged in the customary face-off, with their physical disparity on show, it emphasized just how unlikely this complete situation is - and how astonishing it is that the fight is really happening.
